Freedom2Live has two tickets, worth 650 each, to give away for this year’s Australian Universal Design Conference.

Taking place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 4-5, the conference aims to broaden thinking about the way UD can be utilised and applied. The theme of the conference ‘Home and Away: Creating Inclusion Everywhere’ will focus on universal design (UD) in relation to housing and tourism.

Run in conjunction with the Centre for Universal Design Australia, it features a strong line-up of local and international experts from Deloitte Access Economics; Arup; the Australian Building Codes Board; the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse; local government; Griffith University and Deakin University, just to name a few.

The dual track conference offers more than 10 hours of strategies and practical insights covering accessible tourism; the future of transportation; accessible housing and the national construction code; the changing face of UD in Australia and overseas, along with many other pressing topics that serve to inform government plans and operations when it comes to UD for housing, infrastructure and tourism.

To enter Freedom2Live’s competition, simply tell us in 50 words or less why you would like to attend the conference here. Entrants must include the person’s name; title; email and phone number. Entries close on August 27, 2018.
