Kurt Fearnley FINALWheelchair athletes from around the globe will descend on Sydney for the annual GIO Summer Down Under Series.  A highlight will be the Oz Day 10K road race being held on Australia Day. This is a significant event on the NSW sporting calendar with local champions facing off with the finest wheelchair track and road racers from the USA, Japan, Canada, the UK and South Africa.

The series runs from January 19-27 and free events begin with the Canberra track meet at the Institute of Sport on January 21-22 followed by a twilight track meet at Sydney Olympic Park on January 24 and a mentor and development clinic also at Sydney Olympic Park on January 25. The road race, starts at 9am at The Rocks on January 26.

Spectator entry to all track and road events is free.
