Congratulations to Carlie Wieland, winner of our Nuance Dragon Dictate voice recognition software giveaway. An occupational therapist with Spinal Injuries Australia since January, Wieland graduated last year through the University of Queensland. Her role at Spinal Allied Health Service encompasses many areas including specialist mobility, seating and equipment solutions, home modifications and vehicle purchase. “We work predominantly with people with spinal cord injury, post-polio syndrome and transverse myelitis, but also support people with a range of physical disabilities,” she told F2L.
“Many of our clients utilise assistive technology such as Dragon Dictate to enable them to access technology with ease. This copy will allow us to trial the system with our clients to determine if verbal dictation software will work effectively for their individual technology needs.”
