The NDIS was the big topic of discussion at the Jewish Disability Services Expo. Over 100 people attended the expo, organised by Jewish Care Victoria, which was held at the Beth Weizmann Community Centre at Caulfield recently. Visitors were given details of the range of disability services available from the Jewish Disability Network.
MP, David Southwick, chair of the Social Inclusion Leadership Group, was MC at the expo. He was joined by Dr Jackie King, who discussed the latest updates from the NDIS and necessary requirements for transitioning to the new system. There were a number of themed activities for children and young adults to enjoy on the day.
