This Phoenix stand up wheelchair can be easily placed in two positions, seated or standing.
Part of the Lloyd stand up range this wheelchair gives added independence as well as movement at a reduced speed and also makes it easier to reach for items on high shelves. A variable controlled electric wheelchair it can be driven via the joystick in the seated stance as well as being driven around in the standing situation. There are three main supports to keep the user within the chair, especially during standing – a chest strap, pelvic/hip lap belt and knee strap.
It is fitted with anti-tippers and safety reflectors and the footplate support is easily removed. The wheelchair comes with a charge that connects to the 240V wall socket. It charges overnight, and depending on use, one charge usually lasts up to seven days. It has a maximum speed of 8mph, a travel range of 36km and supports a user weight up to 120kg.
