Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has formed a new security business. This follows completion of its spin-off from Ingersoll Rand. The new business, Allegion, provides security solutions globally to business and households.
In a statement, Allegion said there would be no changes to the portfolio of strategic brands including Briton, CISA, LCN, Legge, Schlage and Von Duprin. A new management will be installed and the company has been publicly listed on the NYSE.
