The Australian Network on Disability Annual Awards and Conference is happening in Sydney on June 5-6.

It starts with the Disability Confidence Awards Night that recognises and celebrates individuals and organisations who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and made significant contributions towards fostering disability confidence within the community. The awards are an opportunity to hear about outstanding initiatives and network with passionate and committed people who are making a difference.

Australian Network on Disability recently released the finalists for the Disability Confident Awards, with the winners to be announced at the Fullerton Hotel, Sydney on June 5.

Australian Network on Disability’s Annual Conference is the crown event in the disability inclusion calendar and has been running for more than 15 years. Last year’s event attracted nearly 500 delegates, with over 300 attending in person. The audience includes CEOs, senior managers, diversity practitioners, human resources professionals and WH&S advisors, from the public and private sectors.

Delegates are engaged, solutions-focused change makers, committed to issues related to inclusion of people with disability. Their experience in access and inclusion is wide and varied, from showing an interest but not quite started to seasoned practitioners in mature organisations.
