Spinal Life Australia has joined the Queensland Music Festival to deliver their flagship music event Sweet Relief on September 16. This unique and innovative accessible event is part of Queensland Music Trails.

Sweet Relief will present a Queensland-first sensory Silent Disco to support neuro diverse and audio sensitive audiences. Participants will be provided with a haptic vest and wireless headphones. Also in attendance will be ConcertCare with on-ground support staff including social workers, counsellors, nurses and mental health peers for any special need requirements. The roaming crews will be onsite with safety materials, ear plugs, sunscreen and sensory packs.

There is a front-and-centre accessible viewing platform for prime vision and Auslan interpreters will be on stage with fixed cameras to ensure the music can be heard and seen by all.

Also touching down in Brisbane are dance, electronic and live acts from Australia and around the world, headlines by Groove Amanda, who will bring their legendary DJ set to the Sweet Relief stage, supported by a live show with The Avalanches, as well as performances from Ladyhawke, Cut Copy DJs, Nina Las Vegas, Latifa Tee and YO! Mafia.

Don’t miss this accessible inaugural cultural event being held at Maritime Green, Northshore, Hamilton.
