Get informed and involved with 250+ students at the Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) Student Careers Forum designed to help final year Bachelor and Master OT students transition from university to the workplace.
The forum provides sponsors and exhibitors with the opportunity to engage with future OTs, by presenting directly to students. The knowledge students gain from the forum will prepare them for their move into professional practice.
OTA has a long history of providing student career forums alongside its national conferences and in 2021 it will present a standalone virtual event to give greater access to the graduating cohort across the country.
The event will provide attendees with valuable information and resources as they transition into practice including how to build professional networks, stay connected with the profession and look after themselves. Knowledge gained from this forum will prepare students for their move into professional practice as they start their occupational therapy career.
Forum attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with potential employers, suppliers as well as other final year students from across Australia.
The virtual event includes presentations, breakout sessions as well as engagement with employers, OTs and recruiters. OTA is also providing information and tips to assist students on their career path.
The forum will be held on August 26, 2021, from 2-5pm AEST.
