Walk With Me, a national fund raising event for critical disability support services hits the road in August/September. It is being co-ordinated by Ability First Australia, the national body of disability service providers and 12 charity partners, including Northcott, and major sponsor Dick Smith.
There are 20 Dick Smith Walk With Me events across Australia in capital and regional centres each held in a carnival-style atmosphere with children’s activities and local entertainment. These activities take place alongside a symbolic 2km or 4km challenge for those in the community to walk and share with a person with disability.
