The 22 finalists in this year’s National Disability Awards have been announced. There were 129 nominations across eight categories that recognise best practice by contributions from individuals, organisations and initiatives made to improve the lives of people with disability.
Among the finalists are the Brisbane City Council, Kiama Municipal Council, Shire of Collie WA, RSL Victoria and the ACT Department of Human Services.
The awards ceremony will be held at Parliament House, Canberra on November 7.
