With the launch of the EmployAbility program in late 2021, we wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about the program, the great response we’ve received so far and how someone with physical disability, who is ready to start looking for work could benefit from completing the program.
About the program:
• The EmployAbility program aims to support people with physical disability through a specialised online training program, with the goal of developing their skills and mindset to help them secure meaningful work with a disability inclusive employer.
• All participants are matched with an Employment Coach who has lived experience of physical disability.
• The Employment Coach will not only guide participants through the online program, they also connect them with disability inclusive employers, help them through the job application and interview process, and provide post-employment support.
• The online program and training is accessible from anywhere in Australia.
