The Federal Government has moved to protect people with disability, unveiling a new Management and Operational Plan for COVID-19. It ensures that the most vulnerable people get the health care, support and help where and when they need it.
It is part of a national response that aligns with the Health Sector Emergency Response Plan for Coronavirus.
The plan addresses factors such as the reliance on close contact with carers and support workers, having a compromised immune system and the presence of multiple underlying health conditions.
