The Australian Network on Disability has developed a COVID-19 resource with practical tips to ensure that all employees can participate equitably.

Two sessions will be held on April 23 and April 29.

April 23 (11am-12pm:  Practical tips on accessible and inclusive communications:

The pandemic has highlighted the importance of effective communication with its teams and increased use of technology platforms to remain connected. Listen, learn, and ask questions about ways to communicate inclusively with employees and customers with disability. Join the conversation with AND members and experts around communication practices.

April 29 (11am-12pm):  Creating inclusive and accessible customer experiences:

Businesses shifting from onsite to online, or changing the physical environment of stores and offices to ensure the health and safety of staff, can all present unintended barriers for your customers with disability. Hear from respected peers with discussions on innovative and inclusive practices to ensure that customers with disability are not left behind.

To strengthen the focus of these discussions submit your questions before the event. There will also be a live chat function to submit questions during the discussion forum.

All discussion forums will be recorded and made available on the Members Only section of the website following the session. And contact us if you have any questions.
