This showcase of accessible reading which includes an engaging panel discussion about alternative reading formats, features speakers from Vision Australia. It includes a virtual tour of the Vision Australia radio studio and a showcase of literacy kits from its children’s library Feelix, braille and accessible devices.

The webinar also includes a panel discussion and Q & A session making it interactive for participants. The library manager will discuss the availability of over 45,000 books and explain the assistive technology options available.  Transcribing documents and how 3D tactile formats are made are also among the broad range of services.

According to events coordinator, Mimi Taye, the webinar is a unique opportunity “to take people into the backend of what Vision Australia offers”.
