Georges River Council is inviting local artists with disability to join “Georges River Reframed: International Day of People with Disability Art Exhibition.”
The exhibition, which will launch on 3 December 2025, will celebrate the artistic talent of locals with disability.
The date coincides with International Day of People with Disability.
Selected artworks will be displayed in the Clive James Library, Kogarah Gallery Space. One selected artwork will appear in the council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026–2030. The artist whose work is selected will receive $2,000 for use of their work.
“This exhibition is a chance for artists with disability to show their talent and share their stories,” Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said.
“We are proud to support a project that celebrates inclusion, creativity and community. I encourage local artists to apply and be part of something special.”
To apply, artists need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) online. Artists may submit more than one existing or newly created artworks.
Applications close at midnight on Tuesday 11 November 2025.
