Registration is now open for communities, schools, clubs and individuals to access free merchandise to help promote their specific event. All registered event organisers will receive a pack of promotional products with tools that include event ideas, an event checklist and promotional material. Each registered event will appear on the IDPwD website for people to browse by state or territory.  IDPwD is a United Nations sanctioned day held each year on December 3.

Assistant Minister for Social Services and Disability Services, Jane Prentice said the day is about raising awareness of the issues experienced by people with disability and the importance of making communities more inclusive. “I encourage everyone to get involved and celebrate the outstanding contributions people with disability make to this country,” the minister said.
