Occupational Therapy Australia has launched its inaugural Leadership Program developed in collaboration with leadership experts and leading occupational therapists.
OTA’s Leadership Program is for OTs looking to take the next step in their career. Participants will learn the principles of modern leadership and how it applies to occupational therapy. The program has been designed for all OTs, from aspiring to established leaders.
Facilitated by leadership expert Professor Stephen Duns, the 15-week program will be delivered from May to August 2023, with a combination of online and face-to- face sessions in Victoria’s Yarra Valley to mark the beginning and end of the program. The program is capped at 30 participants to offer a specialised and engaging environment to learn and network.
The program includes an in-person opening retreat at Balgownie Estate, live online webinars, and online learning modules completed at participants’ own pace. An in-person closing retreat will be held at Chateau Yering. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
