For the 14th consecutive year NOVA Employment is presenting the Focus on Ability Short Film Festival. It invites film makers to ‘Focus on the Ability’ of people with a disability to tell a story on film for the world to view.

Entries for this year’s festival are now open with over $100,000 in cash and prizes, including a new car, to be won.

In 2009, NOVA Employment CEO Martin Wren began the festival with a belief in the ability of people with disability, and the goal of bringing that belief to the world through the medium of film. He recognised the power of film to challenge people’s fixed beliefs and perceptions about the lives and abilities of people with disability around the world.

Anyone can enter and there are plenty of ways to win.  TO ENTER: Just make a short film or doco focusing on the ability of a person with disability, then head to: www.focusonability.com.au

Entries close July 29.
