The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has a new CEO with Martin Hoffman appointed to replace Robert De Luca who departed the agency over five months ago to join Zenitas Healthcare.

Hoffman, who takes up his three year term on November 4, brings a history of senior leadership roles in service delivery in both the public and private sectors with expertise in digital transformation to the position. He most recently led the strategic planning taskforce to set up Services Australia, was CEO of ninemsn and before that worked at Optus and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

To support the next stage in the NDIS the government has also announced it will add 800 positions over the next financial year to assist with resolving existing issues within the scheme.
