The Australian Network on Disability has produced an employer guide for 2020. The planning aid covers a range of national and international campaigns and awareness days that focus on the inclusion of people with disability in the workforce.

Used by many organisations to inspire understanding and engagement in the workplace and promote a culture of inclusion, these awareness days can link back to an organisation’s wider goals and values, demonstrating that workplaces are accessible, safe and support all staff to reach their full potential.

The campaigns and awareness days include:

  • World Hearing Day March 3
  • International Women’s Day March 8
  • World Autism Awareness Day April 2
  • World Day for Safety and Health at Work April 28
  • Global Accessibility Awareness Day May 21
