Allied health provider, LiveBig, has expanded its services to Perth for people with disability.

In its initial launch phase, LiveBig will offer physiotherapy services to people with disability on a NDIS plan, with the intention to expand services to include speech pathology, psychology and behavioural support. The company is focused on building a clinical team with broad experience, capable of providing high-quality support across all ages and requirements.

According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, WA has only 4.3 full-time equivalent allied health professionals per 1,000 people, compared to the national average of 5.2.

LiveBig CEO, Juliet Middleton said this lack of allied health services can make it difficult for individuals living with a disability to receive timely and appropriate support with many on a NDIS plan struggling to access allied health providers.

“We aim to simplify the process of accessing support services, whether at home, in the community, or via telehealth, as we understand the challenges that many individuals and families face,” she said.

LiveBig is part of the Arriba Group, recently voted Best Place to Work in the health industries, with an established presence in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
