NDIS participants, families, carers and providers will be given clear direction if services due to the coronavirus are disrupted in any way, ensuring they have options to continue accessing supports, NDIS Minister Stuart Robert told F2L.

“I am working closely with Cabinet colleagues, departments and agencies to support a coordinated approach to delivering essential services such as the NDIS to the community and the government has been meeting with stakeholders in preparation of escalation of incidence of COVID-19,” the minister said. “We have plans in place to ensure NDIS participants, providers and the NDIA are supported, to ensure continuation of services.

“I will be meeting with NDIS stakeholders over coming days to discuss these preparations. This is a difficult time for us all but especially so for Australians living with disability and we will continue to work to assist them through this period.”
