Jewish Care Victoria and Maccabi All Abilities have signed a new memorandum of understanding, extending a long history of collaboration. As part of the agreement, the organisations have committed to continuing to work together to provide inclusive social, recreational and sporting activities to people living with a disability in the Victorian Jewish community.

Maccabi and Jewish Care will provide a range of sport and recreation activities, including basketball, table tennis, fitness, and schmooze and groove.

“Partnerships such as these strengthen bonds between communal organisations and enhance our ability to deliver person-centred support,” Jewish Care CEO, Bill Appleby said.

According to Maccabi Victoria general manager, Sheryl Furman as the program develops the partnership commitment will offer broader and more creative activities to engage people living with a disability in the community.
