Nominations for the 2022 HESTA Excellence Award for professionals in the disability, allied health, community services and aged care are now open for both Outstanding Organisation and Team Excellence categories.

The eight winners will each take home $7,500 that can be put towards professional development or development of their chosen initiative.

HESTA CEO Debbie Blakey said coming out of the pandemic and adapting to a ‘new normal’ has demonstrated the critical performance of these professionals in protecting and supporting the community and our economic recovery. “These awards help to share their stories and draw attention to the extensive impact these individuals have had on so many lives,” she said.

Nominations close on August 14. Finalists will be announced on October 25 and the winners at a ceremony in Melbourne on November 24.
