National Brain Injury Conference – Brisbane

This conference is one of the leading learning and development events on the disability calendar – driving improvements in services and supports for over 700,000 Australians living with a brain injury.
International keynotes will be given by husband and wife team Kit Malia and Anne Brannagan from Brain Tree Training in the United Kingdom. Malia has spent over 30 years working as a cognitive rehabilitation specialist at the Defence Medication Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court, the premier facility for the rehabilitation of injured armed forces personnel. Brannagan is a specialist in neuro-rehabilitation at the facility. Professor Leanne Togher, principal research fellow at the University of Sydney will also present at the conference.
