Join MD Sugar Free September
September 1 - September 30
Muscular Dystrophy NSW (MDNSW) Sugar Free September 2021 that runs from September 1-30, invites participants to cut out refined and added sugar for the month to raise awareness and funds to help support people living with Muscular Dystrophy.
The event has teamed up with Able Foods, co-founded by Paralympian Dylan Alcott, that offers ready-made meals for people of all abilities. Those who sign up receive a discount on Able Food’s snacks and meals, and the chance to win a month’s supply of free meals.
Challengers will be supported by Sugar Free September and its partners with advice from Nutrition Australia, a free fitness program from Peaches Pilates, plus daily tips.
All funds raised will go towards MDNSW programs and services that include camps, retreats and online peer support programs. There is a ‘One Day Opt Out’ pass available for participants who attend a special event where it is impossible to be ‘sugar-free’.
Registering automatically sets up a personal fundraising page that can be sent to friends, family and colleagues for support.
