Enlighten Festival Canberra March 3-19

This 17-day outdoor art and cultural festival held across the city has improved accessibility initiatives that have made it more accessible and inclusive. For the first time Enlighten has an on-site Changing Place facility which provides people with disability and their carers access to an accessible bathroom with adult change facilities.

There is a workshop about safeguarding the future of your family member with disability. This has come about through a small group of parents wanting to get advice about planning for the future. This workshop is supported by Imagine More and Office for Disability.

On March 19, the Disability Reference Group are inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability and their families to come together to connect.
