The Disability Employment Australia Conference brings the disability employment sector together for discussion, networking and recognition of best practice.

Keynote speakers are Thérése Rein, founder and director of Ingeus, Jodi Rodgers founder of the Birds and the Bees and Yenn Purkis, author and disability advocate. 

Former Disability Discrimination Commissioner, Graeme Innes, pictured, will interview Canadian Deputy Minister for Public Service Accessibility, Yazmine Laroche. The minister will deliver a speech on how the Canadian Government is increasing employment levels for people with disability.

There will also be a Panel Day with three presentations that will include panellists from DSS, the NDIS, academics and providers.

The conference is for managers, aspiring managers, practitioners and academics working in or with the disability employment services sector and includes people with disability, advocates, training organisations, policy makers, researchers and employers and their representatives.

A gala dinner will also feature a Hall of Fame Award ceremony acknowledging excellence, innovation and long-term commitment to the evolution of disability employment in Australia.
