Brain 2 copyBrain Injury Australia wants to hear from people with a brain injury, carers, service providers and employers.  The organisation has prepared three surveys to assist them in finding out the challenges that people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) face in finding work.

As well, BIA wants to learn what two or three things would make it easier for people with an ABI to find work; for Disability Employment Service providers to find work for people with an ABI; and for employers to employ people with an ABI. Each survey has been designed specifically for each group and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

BIA executive officer, Nick Rushworth, said he is committed to increasing the representation of people with an ABI in employment but “their challenges are different from those faced by people with other kinds of disabilities.”

The first 100 people to complete the survey will receive a $20 Woolworths voucher. The survey needs to be complete by June 13.
