Melbourne mother, Rebecca Challoner, founder of My Spirited Child website is hosting her fourth annual Victorian ADHD conference on Saturday April 29, 2023 in the Plenary at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The event is an opportunity for parents, educators, family members, friends, other professionals, and adults with ADHD, to gain information and strategies from national and international experts, that will help children or adults with ADHD.

Research estimates one in 20 Australian children have ADHD. With advances in research and more information available, it is becoming easier for professionals and parents to recognise, diagnose and support these children.

Speakers  at the conference include Dr Michele Toner with a presentation on the Successful Transition to University; Heidi Ryan will discuss Neurodiversity Affirming Practices; Dr Peter Heffernan’s presentation is The best way to help your ADHD child is to get your own ADHD addressed; Emma-Rose Parsons will speak on The Hows’ and Whys’ of Self-Advocacy and Rebecca Challoner will talk about ADHD and Anxiety.
