The ambassadors for International Day of People with Disability have been announced.

The ambassadors are:

  • Isabella Choate, a multi-award-winning Living Experience Advocate, passionate about community building and platforming the voices of young people with disability.
  • Maree Jenner, a long-time advocate of participation and engagement in her community.
  • James Parr, an award-winning model, speaker, content creator, writer, athlete and advocate. 
  • Olivia Sidhu, a Health Ambassador for Down Syndrome Australia and has represented Australia as a civil society delegate at the United Nations in 2023.
  • Ronan Soussa, an Autistic advocate, performer and piano player. 
  • Santiago Velasquez Hurtado, the CEO and founder of 2 companies, an accomplished innovator, designer and blind electrical engineer.

The ambassadors will promote IDPwD and share their unique experiences and perspectives.

IDPwD will be held on December 3.
