The Libraries as Community Connectors provides free online training and resources for Australian public libraries to create inclusive library environments.
Federal funding for the program has recently been extended for another year, allowing it to continue on its mission to enhance inclusion in children’s programs at libraries.
The organisation is now inviting registrations for the Libraries without Limits: Inclusive Libraries Summit, held by Each, for NSW and ACT library staff. Across two sessions, participants will be involved in masterclasses on inclusive activities and invisible disabilities. Register for the event here.
And, Libraries as Community Connectors has also announced it is now part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program.
