Prodigi has introduced an all-digital personal vision assistant that works as a desktop and tablet. The Prodigi Duo claims to be the first HD magnifier that is combines a desktop with a tablet that can be easily detached and taken anywhere.
Developed for the people with vision loss, it has no knobs or dials and sports simple touch and tap controls. The unit uses the same touch controls for the desktop and portable tablet. The Diamond Edge text can be magnified infinitely without compromising image quality. Reading is effortless with a selection of reading modes available with smooth flowing text that the user can magnify, speed up, slow down or go back, without moving the page. The Prodigi can also read aloud if preferred.
It is available in three versions: the duo – a desktop unit with detachable tablet; the portable tablet magnifier or a desktop-only model.
